The basic text, colors, fonts and format is where you can start. As your budget increases you can upgrade your image. Below you will find very basic information on what costs to expect upon entering into this project. These estimates can vary greatly depending on what is accomplished with the end product. Purchase your domain name- (the www.-----.com that is yours) $25 - $35 per year, better rates are available on multi year registrations. You own and control the name as long as your payments remain current and can transfer the name to whoever you want in the future. Hosting of your website- You will need to have your completed website on a computer somewhere that is connected to the web 24/7. This is known as a host server and is always there to allow visitors to connect to your website. This can cost between $15 - $25 per month. This is true hosting with full access to the server host computer and the allowed content you want to install on it to appear on your website. Some companies provide packages that allow you to register your name and start up your website with them but the content and look is limited to what they allow. Build and create your website- Once you have your www name secured (domain name) then you can create the website you want and it will be connected to the name you own so visitors can go to the site anywhere they are connected to the web. Depending on the amount of pages, the details of the art and graphics and the amount of custom features the costs can range anywhere from $350 to well into the thousands. A site like this should cost around $400-$500 to create. Update and Upgrade your site- The person who goes into the website to make changes to text, photos, add pages and keep the look current usually charges an hourly fee. This can vary between $50 and $100 per hour. This person is known as the webmaster. Submission and optimization- This is the act of getting your website found by viewers by using search engine results and other means of popular exposures. The webmaster is the person who handles these duties and charges the hourly rates customary for the work provided. Photography Our basic studio shoot is 1 hour in studio setting. This is indoors with assorted backgrounds. We provide you with all the images taken on CD in large format files. We will print a limited amount of images for you and you have rights to print unlimited images for yourself. These sessions start at $100.
Audio We have the ability to record your sound onto our Pro Tools audio system. This can be used to compliment your video production or it can be edited for audio play only. This service is based on a $50 per hour rate, both for capturing, editing and converting to output format. The final price for this type of production can vary greatly depending on preparation of your parts and the time we spend in production.
